Saturday, June 2, will be a big Plant Sale Day with events in two locations in Wedgwood. At Dahl Playfield, 7700 25th Ave NE, the Children of Picardo P-Patch will hold a plant sale from 10 AM to 4 PM. The plant sale is a fundraiser for the building of a new community children’s garden at the P-Patch. In addition to plants there will be a bake sale and lemonade stand. Note that the location of Saturday’s plant sale is at the adjacent Dahl Playfield, not at the P-Patch itself.
Also on Saturday, June 2, there will be a plant sale held from 8 AM to 4 PM on the grassy lot at the corner of 35th Ave NE and NE 80th Street. The sale is a fundraiser to support church work in the Balkans region of the world, especially in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
